There’s more than just luggage to unpack on the third season of The White Lotus.

After all, fans have now witnessed Sam Rockwell’s monologue, the Ratliff brothers’ kiss and whatever the heck Greg (or Gary as he goes by now) is up to. And that’s just within the first five episodes, with the sixth of eight dropping on HBO March 23.

“I do feel like the other seasons were a rehearsal for this one,” series creator Mike White told TIME in January. “There’s stuff that I’ve never directed before.”

The backdrop for all the chaos is a serene, luxury hotel in Thailand. And while on screen it’s the White Lotus, in reality, it’s actually the Four Seasons Resort Koh Samui.

Built on a former orchard with more than 850 coconut trees, the resort consists of 60 villas and 11 private residence rentals.

It’s where the Ratliff family (Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sarah Catherine Hook and Sam Nivola) Rick (Walton Goggins) and Chelsea (Aimee Lou Wood) as well as Jaclyn, Kate and Laurie (Michelle Monaghan, Leslie Bibb and Carrie Coon) called home. Plus, it was the setting for amenities, including the pool, gym, water hammocks and some of the restaurants.
