Applications are open for the She Code Africa x Grow with Google Scholarship Program 2025. She Code Africa in partnership with Grow with Google and Coursera, is providing 100% scholarship to African girls and women interested in upskilling across the following fields:

  • Prompting Essentials
  • AI Essentials
  • Cybersecurity
  • Data Analytics
  • Digital Marketing & E-commerce
  • IT Support
  • Project Management
  • UX Design

This scholarship is a 6-month (24-week) program designed to equip you with the job-ready skills needed to kick-start or advance your career in technology.

Benefits

  • Successful participants will receive a Coursera Career Certificate along with a Certificate of Completion from She Code Africa.

Eligibility

  • Be a woman aged between 18 and 35
  • Reside in any African country
  • Have at least beginner-level knowledge in the chosen track.
  • Possess a working Laptop and have access to internet connectivity for the full duration of the program
  • Be able to complete chosen course within 6 months / 24 weeks
  • Be available to dedicate 8–10 hours weekly to learning throughout the 6-month program
  • Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a tech career

Application

  • The application will take you up to 15 -20 minutes to complete.
    • A section of the form requires applicants to submit a 90-second motivational video demonstrating your motivation and commitment to any of the desired tracks. 
  • Note that the form does not allow for progress saving, ensure to allocate ample time to complete the form and submit in one sitting.
  • Review your responses for typos or errors before submitting.
  • Ensure you submit your responses before the stipulated deadline.
