Kelly Ripa‘s impeccable fashion taste runs in the family.
The Live With Kelly and Mark cohost shared that her 23-year-old daughter Lola Consuelos—who she shares with husband of 24 years Mark Consuelos—wore a dress that’s been in her closet for decades to pay tribute to her mom at her Disney Legends induction ceremony last month.
“That dress that Lola was wearing is 30 years old,” Kelly shared during a Sept. 3 episode of Live With Kelly and Mark. “That was my dress from 30 years ago. So, I thought that was pretty cool.”
However, the ensemble certainly didn’t look 30 years old. In snaps shared to Kelly’s Instagram Aug. 12, Lola stunned while rocking the stylish red halter gown that cinched at the waist. To top off her fresh look, she styled her hair in a chic high ponytail.
And Kelly—who also shares sons Michael, 27, and Joaquin, 21, with Mark—didn’t only point out how touching her daughter’s gesture was. The Emmy winner also noted the resourcefulness of her fashion choice, quipping that she told her husband after the event, “I was like, ‘See? Price per wear!’”
