Applications are open for the International Civil Society Week Journalist Fellowship 2025. Journalists from around the world are invited to apply to a newly launched fellowship to attend the International Civil Society Week (ICSW). The event will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, 1-5 November 2025 organised by CIVICUS global civil society alliance and Asia Democracy Network (ADN).
ICSW is the world’s largest civil society gathering, bringing together thousands of civil society activists from around the world. CIVICUS alliance is made up of over 15,000 members in over 175 countries. Along with its predecessor, the CIVICUS World Assemblies, ICSW has a proud history of nearly 30 years following its 1995 debut in Mexico City. The most recent events were held online in 2020/21 and in Belgrade, Serbia in 2019.

- In addition to attending ICSW events, including a reception for fellows, selected fellows are expected to publish at least two stories in any format related to ICSW and civic freedoms, based on their reporting during the week.
