The standard duration of the residential fellowship is of 10 months over an academic year i.e. from September through June.

The FIAS Fellowship Programme supports high-quality innovative research as resident fellows conduct their project with the greatest academic freedom and benefit from the stimulating scientific and extra-academic support provided by the host institutes.
