Doja Cat is painting the town her mouth red.
The “Jealous Type” singer made jaws drop on the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards in New York City when she did more than just reapply her lipstick for the cameras. (For every star who stepped out at the 2025 VMAs click here.)
During the Sept. 7 event at UBS Arena, Doja—who wore a lime green and gray checkered minidress with hot pink jewels adorned down the center—pulled out a tube of MAC red lipstick in the shade “Lady Danger” while smiling for photos and began rubbing it onto her already crimson-stained lips.
But her touch-up break didn’t end there. After she finished putting some on her lips she took a giant bite out of the stick of lipstick, chewed and swallowed.
And while the OMG moment certainly turned heads, the stunt also served as a way to draw attention to Doja’s latest role as the global ambassador of MAC Cosmetics.
