Applications are now open for the Data Science to Advance Women’s Health (DSAWH) Fellowship – 2026 Cohort — a transformative 9-month program designed to equip women scientists with the knowledge, tools, and networks to make data-driven impact in health research.
Through this fellowship, 20 early-career women researchers from Eastern and Southern Africa will join a vibrant community of innovators, mentors, and leaders advancing the frontiers of women’s health using data science.

- Open to female scholars based in Africa and working on addressing women’s health problems.
- Participants must be pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree or be a post graduate researcher working on women’s health.
- Participants should also have a draft of a first authored research paper.
