Applications are open for the Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls 2025. This initiative is dedicated to advancing educational opportunities for young girls around the world, especially in communities where access to education may be limited or under-resourced.
In honour of Cynthia Lennon’s legacy and her lifelong commitment to child welfare and education, the program provides scholarships to support girls between the ages of 5 and 18, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed in their academic journeys.

Since its inception in 2015, The Cynthia Lennon Scholarship for Girls has awarded 75 scholarships to girls in Ethiopia, India, Kenya, Myanmar, South Africa, The United Kingdom and The United States. They are happy to announce that applications for the 2025 school year are now open to prospective candidates.
Education is a fundamental right and a powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty, inequality, and discrimination. By supporting girls’ education, the Cynthia Lennon Scholarship Program helps create lasting change for individuals, families, and communities. Eligibility
- Any registered educational institution, charity, NGO or school program with a functional website is eligible to apply on behalf of their female students, providing they represent a minimum of two students.
- The scholarship does not have location restrictions. Groups from every country worldwide are welcome to apply.
- Programs and schools that serve students aged 5 – 18 are eligible.

Simply complete this scholarship application anytime between now and August 15, 2025. Take your time to provide the most thorough, thoughtful responses and only submit one application per group (duplicates will be removed).
