Is your nonprofit dedicated to enhancing the diversity of educators in your community? Do you have initiatives aimed at recruiting, developing, or retaining diverse educators? If so, this is your chance to secure up to $100,000 in funding through the 2025 Diverse Teacher Pipeline Grant!

The Center for Black Educator Development is seeking to support nonprofit organizations that are working to support diverse teacher pipelines in their local communities. If your organization supports the recruitment, development and/or retention of diverse teachers, then they invite you to apply for this grant opportunity.

By applying for this grant, your nonprofit can:

  • Secure significant funding to support your initiatives.
  • Enhance diversity in the educator workforce, contributing to more inclusive and equitable educational environments.
  • Strengthen local communities by ensuring that students have access to educators who reflect their diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Grant

  • Organizations can apply for grant funding for up to $100,000. 

Eligibility

  • Open to nonprofit organizations in the United States that are actively working to strengthen diverse teacher pipelines in local communities.
  • They are currently prioritizing organizations serving the following regions (organizations outside of these regions are welcome to apply, however, priority will be given to the regions of interest):
    • California
    • Maryland
    • Michigan
    • Pennsylvania 
    • New Jersey
    • New York
    • Tennessee
    • Washington D.C.
