Deadline: September 7, 2025

Applications for the Canadian Youth Delegate for Global Health Program 2026 are now open. The Canadian Youth Delegate (CYD) program offers young professionals studying in relevant fields the opportunity to advise Canadian delegations on youth perspectives and incorporate this perspective into preparations for governing body meetings. This experience will provide the CYD with valuable experience in global health diplomacy.

The CYD leads targeted youth engagement and consultations with the goal of cultivating unique perspectives of youth from across Canada with the potential to highlight under- represented issues in global health. Potential meetings where these voices could be particularly impactful include the World Health Organization (WHO) Executive Board meeting, the World Health Assembly, Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO) Directing Council and Executive Committee and United Nations (UN) General Assembly High-Level Meetings.
