They are looking for three interns to join one of three teams (Economics and Political Section, National Security and Foreign Policy, and Communications and Engagement) and you will have the chance to indicate your preference as part of your application. During your internship, you will have the chance to work with colleagues across the whole team and become actively involved in a variety of areas and issues through analytical, organisational, communication and administrative tasks. You will have a manager to support you throughout your internship, and you will gain insights and first-hand experience supporting international work across your assigned role.
Benefits
- This is a full-time, fixed-term internship contract for 4 months. The position is based on a 35h week. The monthly salary is €1,000 (gross). In addition, staff receive meal contribution.
Eligibility

- Excellent French and English language skills (both written and spoken, minimum of C1 level for CEFR*);
- Currently enrolled in a university degree in a field related to the Embassy’s work, such as Political Science, International Relations, Foreign Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Communications, Journalism or Public Affairs.
- Be in a position to provide an internship agreement “Convention de stage” provided by the university/higher education establishment where you are enrolled;
- Have an interest in business, economics, foreign policy, politics and supporting the UK-FR bilateral relationship;
- Confident user of MS Office;
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing positively to group objectives;
- Drive and enthusiasm, combined with the ability to deliver, working as part of a team;
- Resourcefulness and strong research skills with the ability to act on your own initiative to find creative solutions to problems;
- Excellent communication skills to work with business contacts and a wide and diverse team;
- Highly organised, flexible with an excellent eye for detail;
- Availability to engage in a wide range of tasks as part of their internship.
