Sydney Sweeney is shimmering, literally.
The Euphoria actress stepped out at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women ceremony in Los Angeles braless in a sheer silver gown Oct. 29.
Sporting her new bob hairdo, the 28-year-old paired the Christian Cowan x Elias Matso crystal dress with minimal silver jewelry and subdued makeup, with thin winged eyeliner and a matte lip.
During the event itself, Sydney spoke about female empowerment, especially when it came to her latest role playing professional boxer Christy Martin in Christy.
“I know what it feels like to be underestimated—to have people define you before you’ve had a chance to define yourself,” Sydney said during the ceremony. “I know what it feels like to have to prove that you deserve to be here.”
As she put it, “Christy reminds us all that strength doesn’t have to look loud sometimes, sometimes it’s just about getting back up again and again no matter who’s watching.”
