Deadline: October 15, 2025

Les Mesnographies is calling for photos! For its 6th edition, Les Mesnographies invites artists to propose a photo series around one of the deepest taboos: incest. Through photography, they want to create a space where images replace silence, where art becomes voice.

This theme requires sensitivity, respect and strength. They look for works that reveal, question or soothe without falling into sensationalism. There are many approaches. The aim of this Focus is to raise awareness among the public through the artistic photographic image.

As every year, the theme of the Focus will give rise to a “round table” evening with readings, testimonies and discussions. They understand that this topic may be disturbing, but they wish to create a space where such a topic can be seen and discussed with the artists who have submitted their work and wish that the silence around this topic ends.
