Deadline: August 31, 2025
Applications are open for the Action Contre La Faim Grant for a New Humanitarian Perspective 2025. In response to the profound changes experienced by NGOs in recent months, Action Contre La Faim is launching the third edition of its grant for a new humanitarian perspective – a renewed and reimagined version of the initiative.
The humanitarian landscape is evolving. The significant disruptions that NGOs have recently faced led Action Contre La Faim to redesign the format of this grant. Continuing this initiative was essential for Action contre la Faim—not only to spotlight the work of applicants, but above all to increase the visibility of the people they work with and for, and the realities they face wherever they intervene.

By promoting new ways of seeing—ways that move beyond conventional representations, towards fairer, more inclusive, and more ethical approaches—this grant seeks to foster a more balanced exchange with the people portrayed.

- This year, the selected project will receive a €5,000 grant to support work that addresses a humanitarian theme aligned with Action contre la Faim’s areas of intervention, in a country where the organisation is active.
Eligibility
- Open to all photographers, video artists, and content creators (including illustrators, designers, animators, etc.).
- A single project—either individual or collective—will be awarded, based on its innovation in storytelling and production.
Application
In September/October 2025, a multidisciplinary internal jury will meet to select the winning project. The work will be presented digitally—and possibly physically—from October 2026.
