The 2025 Western Union Global Fellowship Program, powered by Watson Institute is now accepting applications and admitting on a rolling basis! This fully-funded, 16-week virtual program is designed for those who are from and/or working with refugee or highly marginalized communities around the globe.

This Fellowship is more than a training, it’s a launchpad! Whether you’re someone leading a community initiative or a registered social entrepreneur, the Western Union Global Fellowship Program can equip you with the tools, resources, and network to grow your impact.

Eligibility

We’re seeking applicants who:

  • Have been working to impact refugee and/or highly marginalized communities for 1-3 years
  • Have a small team of support
  • Have some impact to show
  • Are creating impact in one of the following countries: Costa Rica, Argentina, Lithuania, Philippines, United States, Brazil, Uganda, Nigeria, United Kingdom, India, Germany, Colombia, Japan, Mexico, Pakistan, or Bangladesh.

Applicants do not need to have a registered venture to apply. What matters most is your commitment to impact and the progress you’ve already made.
