Applications are open for the Ahimsa Fellowship 2025. Imagine spending eight months learning how to truly protect animals and make a lasting impact. The Ahimsa Fellowship is a beacon of transformative leadership in animal protection. Through this prestigious 8-month programme, individuals will gain the skills and knowledge to address pressing animal welfare issues and play a key role in shaping a more compassionate, sustainable future for India and the world. The Fellowship equips Fellows to tackle systemic challenges, work towards effective policy change, and foster real, lasting improvements in animal welfare.
The comprehensive Fellowship curriculum, curated with inputs from leading experts in the fields of animal protection, law and the social and corporate sectors, prioritises experiential and peer learning, leadership training, systems-building, and movement-building. Fellows undergo comprehensive capacity building in animal protection laws, government procedures, law enforcement protocols, advocacy tools, and institutional structures. Additionally, they receive training in other pertinent advocacy modalities such as public outreach, field work and documentation, corporate engagement, media outreach and fundraising, providing a well-rounded and holistic approach to animal protection.

Eligibility
- Have a bachelor’s degree in any subject.
- Be able to communicate well (in English and preferably a local language).
- Be between 21 and 39 years old.
- Be ready to dedicate eight full months to the program from your city.
