Deadline: November 30, 2024

Applications are open for the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund Grants 2024/2025. At Nigeria Youth Futures Fund, they seek to strengthen youth leadership in Nigeria through outcomes-driven policy engagements and inclusive resourcing that help youth shape the future long-term development plans of the country.

The grant making component of the NYFF is pivotal towards bridging the gap for underfunded youth activists and youth focused organizations in order to strengthen the effectiveness and impact of their work. This is quite important given that there is still a huge gap between funds available for young people and the amount of funds actually managed by them.

This includes the small (targeted at grassroots, community-based, youth-focused individuals or organizations, who have limited access to financial, human and ICT resources to support their work), development (focused on youth-led and youth-focused organizations that aim to strengthen youth inclusion) and catalyst (that aim to support the capacity and ecosystem building work of civic and innovation hubs across Nigeria) grants.

The 2025 grant cycle is open for applications from qualified individuals and organizations for the Youth Leadership Development Fund. The grant aims to strengthen, support and promote youth ecosystem building in the country and will be awarded to individuals and organizations working in line with the thematic areas of interest which includes facilitating good governance and resolving fundamental national questions.
